Victoria Hume Founder/Director

I am the founder and director of MA Medical and Maidstone Aesthetics. Whilst running my own private clinics for the past 13 years, and bringing up a family, I have worked for the NHS for 23 years, specialising in ITU and A&E. and, to this day, I continue to practice as a nurse in addition to my medical work. As a qualified and independent nurse prescriber, I have a deep understanding of the importance of providing excellent care, and this is reflected in the services that we provide at MA Medical. With 23 years of nursing experience in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Outreach, I have developed a special interest in holistic health and women's health, particularly in the area of menopause. I believe that personalised care is paramount, and I strive to provide this to every patient I see.

Rebecca Thomas Nurse

Hi I'm Becky, I have been a qualified nurse for 15 years, specialising in Accident and Emergency. I have recently completed a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice.

I qualified in aesthetic nursing 8 years ago. I specialise in advanced aesthetics procedures, covering a wide range of treatments. I have been working at MA Medical for 4 years alongside my NHS career.

I am passionate about delivering natural and bespoke treatments, in clinical regulated clinic.

Isobel Collins Clinical Psychologist

Emma Underdown Well Women/Well Men Clinician

I am Emma Underdown, a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of experience in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine. I am currently pursuing a Masters' Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, which is an exciting opportunity to further my knowledge and skills in this field.

As an Independent Nurse prescriber, I am passionate about providing my patients with the highest level of care possible and I believe that this approach is something I live out every day!

Joan Burnop Receptionist/Medical Secretary

My name is Joan and I work for MA Medical as a receptionist and medical secretary. I have worked at Barclays Bank for 23 years and managed a team of 15, where my responsibilities where both financial and people management.

While raising a family I worked in Tescos, then moved to work with children in a pre-school for 14 years.

Jilly Smith Receptionist/Medical Secretary

My name is Jilly Smith and I work for MA Medical, both as a receptionist and as a medical secretary. I spent 11 years at the Berkeley hotel, where I ran the switchboard and managed a team of three staff. I then moved to the Head Office of House of Fraser, where I managed the main reception and switchboard for 10 years. For the last 18 years, I have been working at No. 10 (yes, the No. 10), where I ran a 24/7 team of 12, responsible for the switchboard and managing the recruitment and training of new team members. I have also been entrusted with looking after the Prime Minister and their private lines.

Caroline Barrow Electrolysis/Trans care

Hi i'm Caroline. I am the founder of The Transcare Electrolysis Centre and Clear Clinic. I specialise in electrolysis, which destroys each hair follicle individually and permanently. We aim to provide pain-free electrolysis for those who are on the gender affirming pathway.

I hold an advanced skin clinic to treat a multitude of skin conditions, from skin tags to warts.

I hold level 3,5, and 5 in advanced electrolysis, member of the British Institute of Electrolysis and NHS and BUPA approved.
